Can you explain the roles of Tiamat and Marduk in the creation of Mesopotamian society?
In Babylonian society they set up a throne for Marduk and he sat down facing his forefathers to receive the government. He rules as king but battled the earth goddess Tiamat. Marduk eventually rules (sky over earth) and smashed her skull. ChaCha on!
