It is not recommended to go into any body of water. It is unsanitary and having a healing piercing submerged in unclean water or fluid is bound to cause you irritation. Don't use a tanning bed with a healing piercing. ChaCha on!

About Belly Button
The belly button is a scar on the abdomen from where the umbilical cord is removed at birth. On humans, the scar can appear as a depression, otherwise known as an innie, or as a protrusion, otherwise known as an outie.
