Can you have an iphone on verizon and not pay for a data plan?
The carrier now offers two iPhone plans whose prices depend on how much data you consume -you can download 200 MB of stuff for $15 a month, and 2 GB for $25. (AT&T will let you keep the old $30 unlimited plan if you signed up for it before the rate change last summer.) Some brainiacs have in the past taken an Ipod touch, attached a 3G or 4G card and purchased a separate data plan. You can buy an app to run voice over the same data connection. Hope this helps!
