Can you leave a rabbit at an animal shelter?
You can definitely take rabbits to animal shelters. The humane society near me frequently has them available for adoption. You can also check with the House Rabbit Rescue Society at 148 Broadway, Richmond, CA 94804. Or call them at (510) 970-7575.
