Can you list at least 3 differences between the light-dependent and light-independent reactions of photosynthesis?

Rate This Answer

The light dependent reaction produce ATP and NADPH. The light independent reactions use energy stored in ATP and NADPH. Photosystem I & II use electron transport activated by light energizing electrons in chlorophyll to produce ATP by chemiosmosis and to reduce NADP+ to NADP. These two compounds are used in the Dark Stage (Calvin Cycle) to fix CO2. Thanks for using ChaCha!
