Can you milk a guinea pig?
I did find that the lack of milk, agalactia, is common in guinea pigs. It results from malnutrition, ketosis, dehydration, or mastitis.Orphan guinea pigs from mothers that lack milk need to be bottle-fed with KMR kitten milk replacement. ChaCha!

It is not recommended because it would be stressful/painful for the sow guinea pig. You would also probably be bitten. ChaCha!

About Milk
Milk is a white liquid produced by the mammary glands of mammals. It is produced to provide food for the young before they are able to digest other foods. Milk also serves as a way for the mother to pass on immunities and antibodies to her young. What milk actually contains depends on the animal it comes from, but most milk contains protein, saturated fats, vitamin C and calcium. In most western societies, cow's milk is the most prevalent.
