The U.S. has 58 protected areas known as national parks in 27 states and the areas of American Samoa and the U.S. Virgin Islands. The most-visited national park is Great Smoky Mountains, followed by the Grand Canyon. Some other national parks include The Everglades in Florida, Yellowstone in Wyoming, Yosemite in California, Hot Springs in Arkansas, and Zion in Utah. Cha!
