Can you pass smog in California with out a muffler?
In California, no mufflers will make you fail a visual test if you have to smog it. Smog testing is performed every two years. The DMV mails out registration notices that remind you about smog testing every second annual re-registration mailing. The notice will tell you whether or not you must have your test performed.
