Can you use apple sauce as a substitute for Canola vegetable oil?
In baked goods you can use applesauce as a substitute for the canola or vegetable oil. Use unsweetened applesauce and use one half of the amount of oil called for in the recipe. If it calls for 1 cup oil use 1/2 cup applesauce. Thanks!
