Can you use cat litter for hermit crab cages?
Cat litter has too many chemicals; it's better to use sand or small fish rocks instead, which are very cheap. Make sure you wash the sponge out daily and add fresh water to it. Add empty larger shells to the hermit crab cage and have fun!
