Television personality Andy Rooney was born on Jan. 14, 1919 and was the host of the 'Few Minutes' segment on '60 Minutes'. After 33 years, the 92 year old resented his last show on Oct. 2, 2011. He said, 'I wish I could do this forever. I can?t, though. But I?m not retiring. Writers don?t retire. And I?ll always be a writer.' Until next time, Chaow!

Andrew "Andy" Aitken Rooney (January 14, 1919 - November 4, 2011) was an American television and radio personality and writer who is best known for his weekly appearances on the popular CBS television news series 60 Minutes. Rooney had been a part of the show for more than 30 years, with his final regular appearance taking place on October 2, 2011, just one month before his death from complications following minor surgery. He was 92.
