Did birds and mammals exist during the time of the dinosaurs?
Existing during the time of the dinosaurs were amphibians like frogs, toads, salamanders, caecilians, fish, mammals (mostly small and shrew-like), reptiles (turtles, lizards, snakes, amphisbaenians, crocodilians), and all the invertebrates (molluscs, insects, crustaceans). Modern birds such as ostriches, parrots, songbirds, hawks, ducks and geese did not exist. ChaCha!
