Did Clementine's survey mission of the moon's surface last two years?
No, the Clementine mission lasted less than 6 months. Clementine, officially called the Deep Space Program Science Experiment, was launched on January 25, 1994. The mission ended in June 1994 when the power level on board dropped to a point where the telemetry from the spacecraft was no longer intelligible.
