Did Osama Bin Laden ever admit to planning the September 11th attacks?
After reports of repeated initial denials, in 2004, Osama bin Laden claimed responsibility for the September 11, 2001 attacks on the United States. The CIA's Special Activities Division was given the lead in tracking down and killing or capturing bin Laden.

About September 11th
September 11, 2001 was the day that the United States was subjected to an attack by Al-Qaeda, a foreign terrorist group. The World Trade Center and the Pentagon were both hit by hijacked airplanes, and another airplane that was destined for the White House was brought down by civilians in a field in Pennsylvania. A remembrance tower for the thousands of missing and dead has been built on the space where the twin towers once stood.
About Osama Bin Laden
Osama bin Laden was the founder of international terrorist organization al-Qaeda. He was credited with the September 11th attacks and US embassy bombings in 1999. He was the on the FBI's Ten Most Wanted Fugitives List until his death on May 1, 2011 during a firefight with U.S. Special Forces soldiers outside of Abbottabad, a city in Pakistan. Obama's body was buried at sea soon after his death.
