Did the IRS change tax day for 2011?
The IRS announced in Jan 2011 that Tax Day this year (just this year!) would be on April 18, not April 15. Washington DC observes Emancipation Day (the day slaves were freed in DC) on Apr 15th this year, so the IRS extended the tax deadline 3 days. It is unclear when they will be releasing funds.
