Did the soccer player Socrates die?
Brazilian soccer player, Socrates was named one of the 100 best soccer players in history. He was born Feb. 19, 1954 in Belem do Para Brazil. He won the 1982 FIFA World Cup and appeared in the 1986 World Cup, the 1979 Copa America, and the 1983 Copa America. On Dec. 4, 2011 he died from septic shock caused from gastrointestinal bleeding. Socrates has stated that his childhood heroes were Fidel Castro, Che Guevara and John Lennon. ChaCha knows all!
