The 'cliff' in question is Kauri Cliffs, which seems to actually be the name of a five-star resort and golf club in New Zealand where he was staying on vacation. The famous actor is still alive and well will be staring in the 3rd installment of Men in Black that will be released May 25, 2012. Bow Chicka ChaCha
