Do ants sleep?
Sort of ants have a resting state, and actually hibernate in the winter months, but they don't seem to sleep like humans do.

If they have nothing to do and have to reduce the need of food, they fall in a sleep-like mode with reduced biological functions.

Ants do seem to work very hard, but they also rest and sleep. There are always ants working at every hour, shift work. Thanks!

About Ants
Ants are insects of the family Formicidae and belong to the order Hymenoptera. They are thought to have evolved from wasp-like creatures sometime between 110 to 130 million years ago and then evolved after the rise of flowering plants. There are an estimated 22,000 different species, out of which only about 12,500 have actually been classified.
