Do baby teeth float in the gums?

Topics: HealthMouth, Science

Answer

James Ide

Children are born with a full set of both primary and secondary teeth. The gums dissolve as the baby teeth float to the surface. Beginning at the age of 6 months children get 1-2 teeth a month for the next 2 years.
