In Indiana, you must be 21 to drink alcohol. Alcohol is served in restaurants and bars Mon - Sat from 7 AM to 3 AM and 10:30 AM to 12:30 AM on Sundays. Alcohol can be purchased from liquor stores, retail/grocery stores, convenience stores, drug stores and some gas stations every day EXCEPT Sundays. About Bars
Bars by definition are adults-only establishments that serve alcoholic beverages. However, in practice they are a lot more than that. They are a great place to meet friends and make new friends. They can be a good place to unwind after a hard day of work. For some, they can be a second home - and not just because of the availability of alcohol, but the alcohol helps.
About alcohol
The most commonly used alcohol is ethanol and has been produced and consumed by humans for a millennia, in the form of fermented and distilled alcoholic beverages. As with anything, alcohol can be a great or terrible thing. Ethyl alcohol, or ethanol, is an intoxicating ingredient found in beer, wine, and liquor. Alcohol is produced by the fermentation of yeast, sugars, and starches.
