Do i add my critical reading, math, and writing scores together to get my actual SAT score?
There are two ways that you can calculate your SAT score: by adding your critical reading and math sections together, or by adding all three sections (critical reading, math, and writing). The average score on each section is about 500. ChaCha!

About SAT Score
The SAT is a standardized test used for college admissions within the United States. Performing well on the test can help ensure enrollment to a student's preferred school, or can act the opposite as colleges could deny admission based upon a low score. The test is owned, generated and scored by the College Board, which is a non-profit organization.
