Do I need a license to teach piano in my home?

You don’t need a license to teach piano lessons privately in your home. You just have to pay taxes (in the United States) on anything you earn over $650. You will have to file for self-employment tax, and If you rent an office building for a music store (in your name) you will have to get a license if it is an actual music business. Thanks.
