Do jellyfish have spines?
Jellyfish do not have spines. Jellyfish lack basic sensory organs and a brain, however, their nervous systems and rhopalia (small sensory structures) allow them to perceive stimuli, such as light and odor and enable them to respond quickly. ChaCha on

About Jellyfish
Jellyfish are by far some of the strangest creatures on Earth. They range in size from less than a centimeter across to the size of a few people standing together in a close group. The can be completely transparent or bright and colorful, they are found on the coasts, on the surface of the seas, the deepest cracks of the ocean. They are mostly found in salt water, although there even a couple of fresh water species. They are beautiful and calming to watch, but don't get to close or they will sting, whether they want to or not.
