The pineapple grows on a herbaceous perennial pineapple plant. The pineapple plant is not very tall, just about four feet, but has a wide spread, 3 to 6 feet. The spread of the plant depends upon the number of bromeliads it will bear. Thanks!

The pineapple is a tropical ground fruit(berry) that grows on a Mulberry Tree. Although called a tree, it is more like a bush.
