Do you have to be 18 to buy a lighter?
There is not a federal law that bans minors from buying lighters. However,most stores have a policy saying you need 2 b 18 yr old.

You can technically buy a lighter at the age of 16 but its up to the store whether or not they are willing to sell it to you.
