Do you have to pay for the data plan if you have an unlocked iPhone for AT&T?
Unlocking an iPhone just means that you are allowing it to connect to a different service provider than it was built to carry. Unlocking a phone does not give you free data or force you to pay for a data plan, unless you are already in a contract which requires one.
