Do you have to use a filter to make a pot of coffee?
Yes. If you do not use a filter when making coffee, the coffee crystals will fall into the pot and your coffee will be gritty and full of crystals. Thanks for using ChaCha!

About Coffee
Coffee is the engine of civilization. That little tiny bean with the caffeine has been part of the working day for hundreds of years. Even cowboys enjoyed coffee around the campfire.
