About Checkers
Checkers is a traditional board game played by two people on a 8x8 grid (same as chess). The game is also called 'draughts' in countries outside the United States. It is played by moving pieces diagonally or by jumping over opponent's pieces diagonally. When all of a player's pieces are captured, then the game is over. It is also the name of a popular restaurant chain in North America.
