Do you need proof of insurance to rent a car from Dollar Rental?
You don't necessarily need proof of Insurance because you will have the option to purchase insurance through Dollar for the rental. Pay the extra for insurance if necessary. Don't learn the hard way, like I did. ChaCha.

About Insurance
Insurance is used to protect someone's property/self from harm or damage and, if found necessary, the issuing company will give the person a check to cover the cost of the incident.
