Do you put onions in Cole slaw?
Traditional coleslaw does not have have onions in it but KFC's coleslaw recipe has 2 tablespoons of minced onion. It is the same recipe I use and it tastes just like KFC's coleslaw. Leave it in fridge for a day or more to marinate flavors. 8 cups finely diced cabbage (about 1 head), 1/4 cup diced carrot, 2 tablespoons minced onions, 1/3 cup granulated sugar, 1/2 tsp salt, 1/8 tsp pepper, 1/4 cup milk, 2/2 cup mayonnaise, 1/4 cup buttermilk, 1 1/2 tbs white vinegar, 2 1/2 tbs lemon juice. ChaCha!
