The federal Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) does not define full-time employment or part-time employment minimum or maximum hours. This is largely at the discretion of individually employers. In TX I could find no state law setting a minimum amount of hours needed to still be considered a part-time employee. Keep on ChaCha'ing!
