The six dimensions of health - proper weight and diet; proper exercise; breaking the smoking habit; control of alcohol; stress management; periodic exams - are all equally important. All contribute to overall health and well-being. Just like how you’ve developed some bad health habits through repetition, you can start new ones.

In order to have total wellness, you must be in balance with each of the six dimensions. If even one dimension is off balance, then your overall health could greatly be affected. For example, let's say that you were in key with each dimension but your emotional state (i.e. depression) was off balance. This can affect your physical and social health.
