Born in Hawaii, he is a United States citizen, although he exprienced other cultures as a youth, living with his mother in Indonesia, for example. He graduated from Columbia University and Harvard Law school.
About John McCain
John McCain is a Republican Senator from Arizona, who served in the U.S. Navy and was tortured as a POW for 5 years. McCain is best known for running as Republican nominee for President of the United States with running mate Sarah Palin in the 2008 election against Barack Obama.
