Do you think there might have been a relationship between the violence of the Vietnam war and the growing climate of violence in the United States during 1968?
Because many were drafted and upset about it, many groups turned to violence to get their anti-war message across. In addition with the rise in recreational drugs there was an increase in perceiving one's self as a criminal or outsider to society.
