Does A&D ointment take the color out of your tattoo?
A&D Ointment does not take the color out of your tattoo but the petroleum in it could clog the open skin not allowing it to breathe. I apply a thin layer of Bacitracin to mine for the first few days then I use a mild fragrance free lotion after.
