Does an American citizen need a visa to travel to London?
Unlike the U. S., the UK does not have a "visa waiver programme"; everyone without the "Right of Abode" in the UK needs to have a visa during their stay here. However, the UK Government includes the United States in its list of designated countries and permits U. S. citizens to apply for a visa upon arrival in the UK. ChaCha!
