Buffalo Wild Wings is an American casual dining sports bar and restaurant franchise specializing in beer and buffalo wings with 14 signature sauces. Buffalo Wild Wings opened in 1981 when Jim Disbrow and Scott Lowery moved from Buffalo, New York to Kent, Ohio. The boys got a powerful enough craving for buffalo chicken wings, they went far beyond making a batch at home; they started a wing joint that blossomed into an entire franchised sports bar. Buffalo Wild Wigs is often called BW-3, which is short for Buffalo Wild Wings and Weck.
