Does dry ice keep you cold?

Rate This Answer

Dry Ice is frozen carbon dioxide. Dry Ice has some dangers. It's colder than -79 degrees C. Don't touch it with your bare hands! (Use oven mitts.) "Fog" produced by Dry Ice is actually water vapor, either condensing from the air around the Dry Ice, or from warm water the Dry Ice is immersed in. The fog would cool you, close would make you cold, and touching it would hurt.
