Does GM & Chevrolet share 50/50 and whats general motors suppose to mean?
General Motors (GM) and Chevrolet are not equal partners, they do not share 50/50. GM actually owns the brand Chevrolet, as well as: Buick, Cadillac, Chevrolet, GMC, Opel, Vauxhall, and Holden, as well as two joint ventures in China. GM also owns OnStar subsidiary provides vehicle safety, security and information services. GM employs 202,000 people and does business in some 157 countries.
