No. Mountain Dew does not contain worms. Do you really think the food and drug administration would allow it on the market if it did? The acid is to give it the citrus flavor. But who ever told you about the worms is just pulling your leg. ChaCha on!

Mountain Dew is a citrus soft drink manufactured by PepsiCo. The original formula was developed in the 1940’s in the southern US by Bill (William) Jones. In 1964, the soft drink was distributed across the United States. As of October 15th, 2008 the soft drink logo was redesigned as a shortened version of the full name as just 'Mtn Dew'
