A common urban legend about Mountain Dew is that it shrinks your penis, or lowers sperm count. Both myths are simply that as these claims are attributed to Yellow Dye #5, which is a primary ingredient in Mountain Dew. There is no scientific evidence that links Mountain Dew or Yellow Dye #5 to either accusation. ChaCha!

There are things that can lower sperm count temporarily, such as wearing underwear that's too tight but no soft drink, including Mountain Dew can lower it. ChaCha anytime!
