About Baseball
Baseball, which is considered to be America's past time, is a bat and ball sport played between two teams of nine players each. In the United States, professional MLB teams are divided into the National League and American League, which come together for the national championship each year called the World Series.
About Minor League Baseball
Not every professional player is ready to go to the Show immediately upon getting picked up by a team. That's where the minor league system comes in. Minor League Baseball is divided into A, Double A, and Triple A divisions. Typically players will work there way up from single-A to triple before going to the Majors, but it is not unheard of for a double-A player to get a shot as well.
