Does spinach have a good source of fiber?
Yes, 1 cup of raw spinach has 3.5 grams of fiber. 1/2 cup of cooked spinach has 7.0 grams of fiber. Limas, kidney, and pintos are great sources so try those as well. Cooked chickpeas are a good option as well. ChaCha again soon!

About Grams of Fiber
Fiber is necessary for the healthy functioning of the digestive system. Whole grain breads, fruits and vegetables, and whole grain cereals are good sources of fiber. Most diets that are not 'fad' diets recommend healthy quantities of fiber in the diet.
