Does target have layaway?
Target does not currently offer layaway. However, Toys R Us, Sears and K-Mart are offering layaway plans this holiday season.

The old-fashioned service of layaway is almost gone. Among the big chains, Wal-Mart and Kmart offer layaway, but Target does not.

Kmart, Burlington Coat Factory, TJ Maxx and Marshall's have layaway plans but Target does not at this time. ChaCha for now!

About Target
Target Corporation (Target) is an American retailing company founded in Minneapolis, Minnesota in 1902 as the Dayton Dry Goods Company. In 1962, the company opened its first Target store in nearby Roseville. Target grew and eventually became the largest division of Dayton Hudson Corporation, culminating in the company changing its name to Target Corporation in 2000. By May 2010, the company had opened stores in every state except Vermont, operating as Target or SuperTarget.
