Does the aids virus gets digested by the mosquito's stomach and killed? Why can it transfer West Nile Virus and not aids? More?
* These HIV particles would have to somehow get into the saliva of the mosquito, and then be transferred to a new person. Thanks!

About West Nile Virus
According to the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) West Nile virus (WNV) is a potentially serious seasonal (summer/fall) illness for which there is no specific treatment. Avoid mosquito bites by using repellent and wearing long sleeves. In mild cases people experience symptoms such as fever and aches that pass on their own, although even healthy people have become sick for several weeks.
