About National Parks
A national park is a declared land area that is protected by the government from development and is designed for human recreation and preservation of beautiful natural resources.
About North Dakota
In the northern fringes of the Midwest region lies North Dakota. It is bordered on the north by Canada, to the east by Minnesota, to the south by South Dakota and to the west by Montana. The northern state experiences cold winters and warm summers. The eastern have of the state experiences more humidity than the western half of the state. In the winter the average temperatures are in the teens and the summer averages temperatures in the 70’s.
