Does the reader's attitude toward Jim change as a result of his response to Huck's trick on him?
Huck Finns attitude and the readers changes because we see how serious Jim was when he was tricked and how much it hurt him. It kinda makes the reader think down on Huck for playing such an awful trick on Jim.
