Does using chap stick help or worsen cold sores?
Chapstick will only help a cold sore if you apply to the affected area at the first sign of a cold sore/fever blister, not more than 3 to 4 times daily. It won't really worsen cold sores but if you don't apply it early enough it won't help much.
