Does water have a smell

Topics: Food & DrinkWaterCompounds & Mixtures, Chemistry, Health, Science

Water does not have an apparent odor. If additives, such as chlorine, bleach, other chemicals, etc., are in water, this can cause it to smell.

Water should be color and odor-less for consumption. Tap water however does take on the "mineral or chlorine smell".
