About Xanax
Xanax, sold under the generic name Alprazolam, is a potent anti-anxiety/muscle relaxer of the type benzodiazepine. It is a short acting drug with similar effects to Valium. Xanax is the most commonly abused drug in the benzodiazepine family, and can be addictive.
